RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF LOTS 5 and 6, BLOCK 12
~~TINGDALE EROS' LxATGOLN HILLS".
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Counci 1 of the Village of Rich-
field, Hennepin County, Minnesota as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary. and expedient to
the public health, safety, convenience, prosperity and general
welfare to acquire for park and other municipal gurposes the following
described property in the Vil3.age of Richfield, County of Hennepin
and State of Minnesota, to wit:
Lots 5 and b, Block 12, "Tingdale Bros'
- Lincoln Hillst~, according to the plat
thereof on file and of record in the
office of the Register of Deeds Hennepin
County, ~linne rota.
2. Condemnation proceedings having been instituted by the vi1-
lage for the acquisition of said properties, -but the owner of laid
properties now having offered and agreed to sell the same for the
sum of $2,000 net to her, said offer is hereby determined to be a
fair and reasonable offer and the same is hereby accepted.
3. The .mayor, manager, finance officer and attorney are hereby
authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to
effect a purchase of said lots in accordance with said offer:
4. The purchase price and expenses incident to the e.cqua.sitian
of said properties shall be charged agsinst and paid out of _the Park
Fund to be covered by permanent transfer of funs from surplus monies
of the Liquor Store Fund.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this
27th day of October, 1958.
