RESOLUTION PRO~IIDING TAXES FOt~ PAYb,~NT OF BONDS COVERING
THE VILLAGE ASSUR~iED SHARE OF SPECIAL ASSESSA~IENT P120JECT
No. 341 and 342.
WHEREAS, certain improvements have been ordered, total costs de-
termined and are being assessed, and
WHEREAS, resolution No.-1470 dated December 9,.1957~~.authorized
the issuance of temporary improvement bonds to provide funds for con-
struction, and
Wt~REA5, paragraph 3 of said resolution provides that necessary
special assessments and ad valorem taxes be levied subsequent to the
time Village Projects No. 341 and 342 have been completed and the
total costs have been determined, and
Wt1~REA5, total costs of Village rroject No. 341 is $24,298.71,
of which $1,208.99 has not been assessed, and total costs of Village
Project No. 342 is $11,111.91 of which $8,889.53~has not been assessed
against benefited properties, and
W~~REAS, these costs not assessed in the amount of $10,098.52
are being assumed as the Village share, and
WHEREAS, a sinking fund has been created by resolutioh #1470 for
the necessary temporary or def initive bonds, which shall be held by
the village treasurer and used for no other purpose than to pay prin-
cipal of and interest on said bonds, provided that if any payment of
principal or interest shall become due when there is not sufficient
money in said fund to pay the same, the treasurer shall pay such prin-
cipal or interest from the general fund of the village, and said gen-
eral fund shall be reimbursed for such advances out of the proceeds
of taxes levied pursuant hereto or other monies appropriated by the
village council fo'r such purpose.
NOW Tt1EREFORE, BE IT ~t~SOLVED by the village council of the Village
of Richfield as follows:
1. That there shall be levied upon all the taxable property in
the village a direct ad valorem tax which shall be spread upon the tax
rolls and collected with and as a part of other general taxes of the
village, which tax is in the years and amounts as follows
1958 ........ $2,700.00.
1959 .......: 2,6.00:00
1960 .......: 2,400.00
1961 ........ 2,300.00
19b2 ........ 2,200.00
Each of said levies shall be irrepealable, provided that the village
reserves the right to reduce said levies in the manner and to the ex-
tent permitted by law.

3. The County Auditor of Hennepin County and the off icers of the
village are hereby authorized and directed to prepare and furnish to
the purchaser of the issued temporary improvement bonds or subsequent
definitive bonds and to the attorneys approving the same certified
copies of all proceedings aad records of the village relating to said
bonds and to the financial condition and affairs of the villages and
such other certificates , affidavits and transcripts as may be required
to show the facts within their knowledge or as shown by the books and
records in their custody and control relating to the valid ity and
marketability of said bonds and such instruments, including any here-
tofore furnished, shall be deemed representations of the village as to
the facts stated the rein.
