RBSOLtPCION NO. 1660
RBSOLUTION ADOPTING ASS&~SMBNT ON VILLAGB PROD. NO. 341-~A
BB IT RBSOLVBD by'the Village Counci,i of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin
County,; Minnesota, as follows: ,
l« 'That the Village Clerk has,. with the as~i.stance of the Village`
Engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction
of Village Project No. 341.-A consisting of street and alley grading against every
assessable lot, piece, or parcel of l~.nd specially benefited thereby in
accordance with the provisions of law,. and the proposed assessment so made
up was filed with the Village Clerk for more than I5-days prior to the assess-
ment hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore
duly held as required by law-so that this council could meet and pass upon
the proposed ass~essxnent.
3« That an opportudity has'been given to all interested persons to
present their objections,, if anyA to such proposed assessment or to any
item thereof at said public hearing.
4« That the'Village Council has heretofore duly established Village
Project No« 341-~, acid after carefully considering all the facts,, the
benefits to each lot,, piece or parcel of Iand and fully advising itself in
the premises, had found and determined and hereby declares that each and
every S.ot~ piece„ or parcel of Iand included in said proposed assessment
role was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project
No. 341-~, aurzd has been and is specially benefited in'the amount set out in
said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot,, piece or parcel of
]a. nd.
5. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed adopted,. and confirmed
and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed,.
adopted and confirmed as the proper special a~sessznent for each of said
lots, pieces„ or parcels of land respectivelyA and s~iid amount so set out
is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels
of land therein described.
6« Said assessment is hereby affirmed,. adopted, confirmed and
shall be certified by the Village clerk and filed in his office,, and
shall thereupon b~ and constitute the speciaS. assessment for said street
and alley grading, Village Project No« 341-A.
7« The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the
property included therein,, concurrent with general taxes,, and shall be
payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 20 years.
The first installment shall be payable_on the first Monday in January of
1959. All assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum.

Village Project No. 341-
To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment
from the date of this resolution until December 31,. 1959. To each subse-
quent installment shall be added interest for one year on all. unpaid install-
ments.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over
in the s2ome manner as other municipal taxes.
Passed by the council of the Village of Richfield this 22nd day of
September, 1958.
