RESOLUTION AUTHO%tTZING PU.tCHASE OF
pRCpERTy .- XERXES AVENUE AND ?2nd
STREET
BE IT ;tESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield,
Minnesota as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to
the public health, safety and general welfare to acquire for park
and other municipal purposes the following described parcel of
land in the Village of Richf field, to wit:
Lot 61 and the West 4? feet of Lot 62 and the
South 30 feet of the East ?3 feet of Lot 62 and
the South 30 feet of the ~dest, l02 feet of Lot 63,
Sabin Lake Harriet Garden Lots.
2. The owners of said property having, by written offer,
agreed to sell said property to the Vi1la,ge of Richfield for the
sum of X500, said offer is hereby considered to be a fair and
reasonable offer and the same is hereby accepted..
3. A proposed purchase agreement dated July 28, 1958, signe d
by said owners is hereby approved, given Clerk's File No~.,~~,,
and ordered to be placed on file.
4. The Mayor, Manager, Finance Officer, and Attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to take such steps as may be neces-
sary to execute said agreement and make provision for the .purchase
of said property in accordance with the terms of said agreement.
5. The purchase price and expenses incident to the acquisi-
tion of said properties shall be charged against and paid out of
the Park Fund to be cove red by permanent transfer of funds from
surplus monies of the Liquor Store Fund..
