RESOLUTION RELATING TO USE OF LIFEBOAT OF
HE~1NEI~IN COUNTY RESCUE SQUAD
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Sheriff has-been housing a-fully equipped
lifeboat in garage facilities of the Village of Richfield and has
granted to the village the privilege of using this equipment by per-
sonnel of the Fire and Police Departments, and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Rescue Squad has requested that there be
an understanding with reference Co damage to o r loss of this equipment
resulting from use of it by village employees, -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Richfield, Hennepin County, as follows
1. It is hereby agreed.by the Village of Richfield that one o~
the condi_tians of being permitted to use this equipment is that first
preference on the use of the equipment is given to the Henne pin County
Rescue Squad.
2. It is further agreed that any damage or loss to this equip-
ment will be taken care of at no expense to tIennepin County: but by the
Village of Richfield if the loss or damage occurs as a direct result
of its use- by employees of the village under any circumstances other_
than those in which the sheriff's office is a participants
3. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to provide the
Hennepin County Rescue Squad with a certified copy of this resolution..
