RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF FARK
PRO~RTY AT KNOJ~ AVENUE SOUTH BETWEEN
62ND AND 63RD STREETS
BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Minnesota as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to
the public health, safety, convenience, prosperity and general wel-
fare to acquire for public purposes, including park purposes, the
following described tract of land, to wit:
That part o the North one-ha ]f (N2) of the North
one-half (N~) of the Northwest Quarter (NWT} of
Section 28, Township 28, Range 24, lying between
plats of Crass Lake Terrace and Henry The rnell~s
2nd Addition, according to the Government survey
thereof .
2. Tt is hereby determined that the agreement of the owner
of said tract to sell the same for the sum of $48,50, plus accrued
taxes, is a fair and reasonable offer and the game is hereby accepted.
3. The Mayor and Manager are hereb- authorized and directed to
execute can agreement on behalf of the Village of Richf field. for the
acquisition of said tract, said agreement to be in accordance with
the provisions of a purchase agreement which is hereby given Clerk's
File No. ~ and ordered to be placed on file..
4. The Mayor, Manager,. Finance Off icer and Attorney are hereb~*
authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to
effect a purchase of said property in accordance with said agreement.
5. The purchase price and all costs and expenses incident
to the purchase of said property shall be charged against the kark
Fund to be covered by permanent transfer of funds from surplus monies.
