NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield as follows: 1., The compromise offer of $29,500 in full settlement of the aforementioned claims of the United States Government is hereby adopted and confirmed. 2. The acceptance of such compromise .offer by the Comptrolle r General of the United States is hereby acknowledged and ths'Village Manager, Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to pay the sum of $29,500 to the United States Genera]. Ac- counting office in full settl.e~nt of the aforesaid claims. 3, That the Village. Manager and Attorney are hereby auth ori2ed and directed to send an appropriate communication along with said payment indicating that it is in full compromise settlement. of said claims. 4.
