RESOLUTION N0. 1300:
RESOLUTION RELATING TO USE OF FACSIMILE
SIGNATURES ON DEi-OBIT 1~ND TidITHDRAWAL OF
FUNDS
BE iT RESOLVED BY THE Village Council of the Village of Richfield as
follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be is the interests of economy
and efficiency to provide for the use of facsimile-signatures of
certain officers of this eillage in the deposit and withdrawal of
municipal funds as authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Sections 47.41
and 4?.42.
2: In the issuance of checks of the village other than payroll
checks the use of facsimile signatures by the following public of-
ficers is hereby authorized.

Manager
or
Acting Manager
Clerk-Treasurer
or
Acting Treasurer
3. In the issuance of checks of the village for payroll pur-
poses and in the endorsement for deposit of negotiable instruments
payable to the village, the~use of facsimile signature of the fol-
lowing public officer is hereby authorized:

4. No such facsimile signatures shall be so used unless there
is in force at the time insurance with an insurance company authorized
to do business in this state, of an amount and form approved by the
coupe il., protecting the village against loss of any public funds with-
drawn upon unauthorized use of such facsimile signature or signatures.
The council herewith approves the initial insurance policy in the sum
of~$10,000 issued by the St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company of
St. Paul safeguarding the village against loss as herein provided.
5. Neither the authority herein
