RESOLUTION NO . 14~~
RESOLUTION RELATING TO Ai'POINTI~ENT OF PROCESS
SERVICE OFFICERS
WHEREAS, this village has abolished the off ice of constable as
provided by law, and
WHEREAS, it is, therefore, necessary to designate by resolution,
persons to serve civil process in this village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Reynold L. Nordstrom and Robert H. Eckstein, residents and
Police Officers of the Village of Richf field, are hereby designated
as the persons authorized to serve civil processes in this village.
2. This designation shall be effective immediately and shall
continue until January, 1959 and until th sir successors are selected
and qualified .
This resolution supersedes any prior motion of the Council re-
lating to the appointment of i'rocess Service Officers.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this
13th day of January, 1958.
