RESOLUTION N0. 1424
RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPOIN~ENT OF PROCESS
SERVICE OFFICERS
WHEREAS, this village has abolished the office of constable
as provided by law, and
WrIEREAS, it is therefore necessary to designate by reso-
lution, persons to serve civil process in this village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Richfie ld, Hennepin County, ~iinne sots, as
follows:
1. Reynold L. Nordstrom and Robert rI.. Eckstein, residents
and police officers of the Village of Richfield, are hereby
designated as the persons authorized to serve civil processes
in this village.
2. This designation shall be effective immediately and
shall continue"until January, 195$ and until their successors
are selected aad qualif led.
This resolution supersedes any prior motion of the Council
relating to the appointment of rracess Service Off icers .
Adopted by the Vi~-lage Council of the Village of Richfield
this 23rd day of September, 195?.
