RESOLUTION CANCELLING ASSESSMENT ROLL AND
ADOPTING CORRECTED ASSESSMENT ROLL,
VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 327
WHEREAS, certain errors have become apparent in the assessment roll for
Village Project No. 327 adopted by Resolution No. 17.9., dated September 24,
195b, and certified to the county auditor on October 7., 1956, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1381 passed by the council on the 22nd day
of July, 1957, assessments on Village Project No. 327 were declared exces-
sive and ordered the preparation of a proposed revised assessment roll,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village of Richfield as follows;
1. That the assessment ro13 for Village Project No. 327 adopted by
Resolution No, 7191, dated September 2~., 1956 and certif led to the county
auditor on October 1, 1956, be, and the same hereby is cancelled-.
2. That the Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village Engineer,
calculated the proper amounts to be reassessed for the construction of Village
Project No. 327 consisting of sanitary sewer, against ever assessable lot,
piece, or parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance with the
provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up was filed with the
Village Clerk f or more than 15 days prior to the assessr~ nt hearing and was
open to public inspection at all times during said period.
3, That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore
duly held as required by law so that this counci]. could meet and pass upon
the proposed assessment,
}~. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to
present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any
item thereof at said Public Hear3.ng,
5. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed
and the sums fixed and Hamad in said proposed assessment are affirmed, adop#~d
and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said Lots, pieces:
or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein des-
cribed,
6, Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall
be certified by the Village clerk and filed in his office,, and shall there-
upon be and constitute the special assessment for said sanitary sewer,
Village Project No. 327.
7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the
property included therein, .concurrent with general taxes, and shall be
payable 3.xt equal annual installments extending over a period of 2O years.
The first installment was payable on the first Monday in January of 1957.
A.11 assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6~ per annum. To the
first insta7.lxnent shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the

date of Resolution No. 119.until December 31, 1957. To each subsequent
installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid install-
ments.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and pa3.d-over
in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
8. That the village clerk be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to furnish a certified copy of this resolution to the county
auditor.
9. That the county auditor be, and he hereby is, authorized to
correct his records..
