RESOLUTION N0. 1343
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHt~tIZTNG ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON NBW
MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORE
WHEREAS, this Council has by previous resolution ordered the prepara-
tion of architectural plans and Specifications for a new building to be
used as a municipal liquor store, such plans and .specifications to be pre-
pared by the architectural firm of Bergstedt ~ Hirsch,. and
WHEREAS,. said architects have prepared plans and specifications per-
mitting the taking of separate bids on (a) general construction,. (b)
mechanical construction and (c) electrical construction,, and
WH,BREAS, the engineering department of this village has formulated
plans and specificatio&s far work to be done in connection with such new
municipal liquor store, Which plans and specifications p rovide for separ-
ate bids on Ca) fixtures, (b)'site grading,. (c) surfacing of the (larking
area and drives,. Cd) a cooler, including the installation thereo€,. (~) two
cash registers and,- (f) a conveyer,, and
WHERBASq all of the foregoing plans and specifications have been sub-
muted to this council for approval.
NOW THEREPORB BB TT RESOLVED, by the Yiilage Council. of the Village
of Richfield,, Hennepin County,, Minneeotr~, as foilowsa
1. That the above mentioned ar'criitectural plans and specifications
are hereby given Clerk's File No. 4553, are ordered to be placed on file
and are hereby approved.
2. That the above mentioned plans and specifications prepared bq
the village engineering department are hereby given Clerk's File No.. 4554
are hereby ordered to be placed on file and are hereby approved..
3. That sealed bids be advertised for to be received by the village
council untie 11:00 A.M, on the 20th day of June, 195? at which time bids
will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Village Managers on ail of
the labor and materials provided for in such plans and specifications.
4. That said bids will be tabulated and subxhitted to the council for
consideration at 8:00 P.M. on the 24th day of JuneA 1957.
5. That the village clerk ~is hereby authorized and directed to adver-
tise for bids'for said labor and ~.teriais in the legal newspaper as re-
quired by law, and also in the Construction Bulletin.
