RESOLUTION AUTHORISING AGREEMENT TO PUR~HA:E
PROPERTY AT ??TH STREET ~,N3~ 5TH AVENUE
bE IT ~tESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of Richfie ld,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, as follows:
~.. It is hereby determined to be necessary and ex-
pedient to the public health, safety, convenience, prosperity
and general welfare. of tae village to acquire for park purposes
the property described in the agreement dated the 11th day of
A~arch, 195?, between Arne G Bogen-and S~gric~ L, P~ogen~ as
sellers and the Village of Richfield as buyer, which agreement
is hereby given Clerk's File Rio . 4476 and . is' ordered to be
placed on f iie .
2. Said agreement. is. hereby approved and the Mayor,
Manager and Clerk are hereby authorized and direeted'to execute
said agreement for and oa behalf of the village.
3. The bayor, ~ Ms.nage r and Clerk afire hereby authorized
and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to perfarwn
said agreement for and on behalf of the village, provided howR
ever, that the s~-.id purchase shall not be completed unless the
voters of this- vil~.age approve a bond issue to finance the pu#~r
chase of said property or unless the vi~.lage .council hereafter
determines to purchase sa~.d property from. ~ existing funds of the
village.
