RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCH.ASB OF.. NORTH 330
PEBT OF LOT BLEVEIV (11), RICHFIELD GARDENS
HB IT RBSOLVBD BY THB VILLAGE. COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin Countyp Minnesota as follows:
1. It i~ hereby determined to 'be necessary tend expedient to the
public health,, safety conven~.ence; prosperity ~ general welfare to
acquire for'park and recreational purposesk the North 330 feet of Lot
Eleven (11),;Richf ieid Gardens.
2.i WHEREAS, the owners of said property hive offexed to sell
said property to ;this village for th~i sum of $12,000 in the event
that the balance of said Lot 11 is ret~bned from residential to gerier-
ai commercial+ i~ is hereby determined that said price is a fair end
rea,a,.nabie purchase price for said property.
3. A proposed agreement entitiedi ''"Purchase Agreement"" dated
February 25th 1457 between the owners of said property and the ~~~.lage
of Richfield is ~e~reby gi~ten Clerk's P~.le No. C+~Q462 and is ordered
to be placed on ~ilei,
4. Said ag~eenlent is hereby approved at-d the Mayors Manager
and Clerk are he eby°authdrized and directed to execute said agreement
for and on behal~ of the villaget
5. Any sump to, be paid pursuant to amid agreement shah. be paid
out of the Park pond.
