RESOLUTION STATING OPPOSITION .T0 P.20FOSED
COUNTY-~9IDE ~t.LIEF SYSTEM
WHEitEAS, placing rural Hennepin County on a county system
of direct relief to b e administered under the County Welfare
Board would not be in the best interests of the Village of
Richf field but would place a tremendous burden upon the t ax-
payers of this community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council
of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. This Council herewith records the opposition of this
village to the adoption of County Relief Bill - ii.F. ?2 and
S.F. 60, introduced in the 195? session of Minnesota State
Legislature.
2. Copies of this resolution shall be sent to all rural
;~ennepin County Legislators and Public Welfare Committee of
both the House and Senate.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield
this 25th day of February, 195?.
