RE50LU~`i0N RELATING TO THE ACQUISITION OF STREET RIGHT OF WAY
ON b3RD STREET BETWEEN PENR? AND OLIVER
BE IT RE.50LVED by the Vil].a,ge Council of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the pub-
lic health, safety, convenience,. prosperity And general welfare to acquire
an easement for street purposes over the Easterly 30 feet and the Southerly
1$ feet of fihe following described parcel of land:
The West 329.6 feet of the South 100 feet of the North one-half
(Na)of the Northwest Quarter (NW~) of the Northwest Quarter (NGF~)
of Section 28, Township 2$, Range 2~,.

2, Whereas, the owner of said premises has offered to convey the same
to the village for the sum of X275 upon the understanding that the village:
shall not take possession of said Westerly 30 feet befare July l~ 1957 and
shall not tak$~aossession of said 1$ feet until July 1, 195$, seed offer is
hereby determined to be a fair and reasonable offer and is hereby accepted.
3. The Mayor, Manager, Finance Officer and Attorney are hereby
authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to effect
the acquisition of the easement in accordanoe with the terms of this
resolution.
4. The aforementioned X275 sha11 be paid out of the Capital Outlay
acGOUnt of the General Fund.
.Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this 26th
day of December, 1956.
