BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Minnesotia, as f ollowss
1. It is hereby determined. that the offer of the owner of
parcel 6820 in Section 28, Township 28, .:pan a 24, to -convey to
the Village of Richfield, the South thirty ~30) feet of said
pa~e1 so as to provide the village with the Y~orth Half (N2) of
a Sixty (60) foot right of way for tdest 65th Street from the
Easterly line of Emerson Avenue extended, to the Easterly line
of the alley. between Ea,~erson a.nd iumboldt Avenues, for the con-
sideration of $850.00 is hereby determined to be a fair and reason-
able-offer and the same is hereby accepted.
2. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient
to .the public health, safety, convenience and general welfare to
acquire said property for street purposes.
3. The bayor, l~ana.ger, Finance Officer and 1'lttorney are
hereby directed. to tat.e such steps as may be necessary to effect
such acquisition in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
4. The amount to be paid for such street right of way ac-
quisition shall be paid fram the Street Department Budget of th e
General Fund and the sum of $850.00 is hereby transferred -from
the Contingency Fund to the General Fund to provide for such
purchase.
