RESOLUTION APPROV.xNG PLANS AND SPECIPTCA-
TIONS POR TRUNK HIGH[}VAY N0. 100 PROM 1250 PBET WEST
OP NICOLLET TO 320 PBET WEST OP THIRTY-POURTH
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared plans and specifi-
cations for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway No. 52 renumbered as
Trunk Highway Number 100 within the corporate limits of the Village of
Richfield from 1250 feet West of Nicoilet Avenue to 320 feet West of 34th
Avenue; and
WFffiRFAS, said plans are'on file in the office of the Department of
Highways, St. Paul,. Minnesota, being markedp labeled and identified as State
Proj. No. 2732-20 (T.H. 100=52); and
WHEREAS, said specifications are on file in the office of the Depart-
ment of Highways, St. Paul, Minnesota, being marked,. labeled and identified
as State Proj. No. 2732-20 (T.H. 100=52), which,. together with the Ic~iinne-
sota Department of Highways Specifications for Highway Constructionb dated
July 1, 1947,. and Supplement No. 1 to tY~e Minnesota Department of~Highways
Specifications for .Highway Construction, effective April 15t 1953, on file
in the office of the Commissioner of Highways,. constitute the specifica-
tions for s2rid improvement of Trunk Highway Number 52 renumbered as Trunk
H ighway Number 100;. and
WHEREAS, copies of said p1~1s and specifications as so marked, labeled,
and identified are also on file in the office of the Village Clerk; and
WHBRBAS, the term ''said plans and specifications" as hereinafter
used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean,
refer to,, and incorporate the plans and specifications as in the fore-
going recitals particularly identified and described,
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has indicated his wil].a.ngness
to enter into an agreement saving the Village of Richfield hapnil~s'ss against
any and all claims, costs or expenses arising out of or by reason of any
change in grade of said highway resulting from_the work which is described
on said plans and specifications.
NOW, THEN., BB IT RBSOLVBD that said plans and specifications for the
improvement of Trunk Highway Number 52 renumbered asTrunk Highway Number
100 within the limits of the Village of Richfield be and hereby are approved.
BB IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the elevations and grades as shown in said
plans and specifications be and they are hereby approved and consent is here-
by given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction of
said Trunk Highway Number 52 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 100 in ac-
cordance with said plans and specifications. This approval and consent is
given on the basis of and in reliance upon an agreement between this

village and the Commissioner of High~vaysr dated this days, providing-For
saving the Village of Richfield harmless against any and all claims costs
or expenses arising out of or by reason of any change in grade resulting
from. work described in or performed pursuant to said plans and specifica-
tions.
Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this
12th day of November, 1956. .
