RESOLUTION ADOPTINQ ASSBSSMSNT ON VILLAGE
PROJECT NO. 3iS
SB IT RESOLVED BY~T~IB VILLAGE COUNCIL OP the Village of Richfield, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, as foi~ows:
1. That the Village C'ierk has, with the assistance of the Village Bngineer
calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village
Project No. $lS; consisting of the Viijaxge Wide Street Oiling Program for the
year 1955, against every assessable lot, piece, and parcel of land specially
benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions o£ law, and the proposed
assessment so made up was filed with the Village Clerk for more than l5 days
prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at ail times
during said periods.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly
head as required by law so that this Cauncii could meet and pass upon the pro«
posed assessment..
3. That an .opportunity has beea•given to ail interested persons to present
their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at
said public hearing.
4. That the Village Council has heretofore duly established Village Project
No.'315 and of ter carefully considering al 1 the facts, the benefits to each
lot, piece, or parcel of land, and fully advising itself in the premises, has
found and determined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or
parcel of land included in said proposed assessment roil was improved by reason
of the construction of said Village Project No. 31S antt has been and is specially
benefited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each
such lot, piece, or parcel of land.
5. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, and Confirmed, and
the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed, adopted, and
confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or
parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against
each of the respective iota, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted, and confirmed shall be certified by
the Village ~ierk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute
the special assessment for said 1955 Village Wide Street Oiling Program, Village
project No. 315.
?. The amount assessed against each lot, piece, or parcel of land shall
bear interest from the date hereof until the same hasbeen paid at the rate of
0% per annum.
8. That such assessments shall be payable in one annual installment payable
on the first day of January to be collected with taxes collectible during said
pear by the County Auditor.
