RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO 88 ASSESS AND ORDERIAiG IltBFARATION

WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the grading of the following streets and
alley:
77th St. from Third Avenue to Portland Avenue
A11ey Between Queen and Russell Avenues from 66th to 67th Street
77th Street from Chicago Avenue to Biiiot Avenue, and
WHERBA~5, for the grading of 77th St. from 3rd Ave. to Portland Ave., has a
contract cost of $2,?11.93; land acquisition cost of $8,1SO.O0 and costs to
be incurred of at least $542.39, and
WHEREAS, foi: the grading of alley between Queen and Russell Aves. from 44th
to 47th St,,, bas's contract cost of $1,214.24 and costs to be incurred are
at least $242.3, and
WHBRBA5, the grading of 77th 3t. from Chicago Avenue to 8lliot Ave. has a
contract cost of $651.55, and costs to be incurred are at least $130.31,
NOW TI~JERRPORB, BB IT RESOLV.RD by the Village council of the Village of Richfield
~:.follaws:
1. The cost bf improving 77th St. from 3rd Ave. to Portland Ave., to be
specially assessed,- is hereby declared to be at least $11,4114.32, and there-
fore that soar will be assessed against the property benefited thereby.
2. The cost of improving the alley between Queen pond Russeix Aves. from
both to-67th St.,, to be specially assessed, is hereby declared to be at least
$1,457.09, and therefore that sum will be assessed against the property bene-
fited thereby.
3. The cost of improving 77th St. from Chicago Ave. to Elliot Ave., is
hereby declared to be at least $781.84, and therefore that sum will be as-
sessed against the property benefited thereby.
4. The village clerk,, with the assistance of the village engineer, shall
forthwith calcu~.te the proper amount to be specially assessed for such 3m~
provement against every assessable lot, piece, or Marcel of land within the
district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by laws and
he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public in-
spection.
5. The clerk shall,, upon completion of such proposed assessment, noti-
fy the council thereof.
