RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF LOT
SBVBN (7), BLOCK SIX (6), SOUTH VIEW ADDITION
SE IT RffiOLVED BY TtU3 VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THB Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Minnesota., as faliows:
1~ It is hereby determined that it'is necessary and expedient
to the public health„ safetq, prosperity convenience and general
welfare to acquire for'park and other municipal purposes, the follow-
ing described property, to wits
The~North Sixty (80) feet of Lot Seven (?), H1ock Six
(6), South View Additionp according to the plat thereof
on file or of record in the office of the Register of
Deeds in and for Hennepin County' i~.nnesota:.
2. The owners of the aforementioned tract having of€ered to sell
the sam6 to the village for the sum of Thirteen Hundred Pifty Dolya rs
($1350), it is hereby determined that said offer is a fair and reason-
able one and the same is hereby accepted,.
3. The owners of said $ract having made it a condition of thim
sale that they receive a personal guarantee against the installation
of playground equipment on the above described tract,, it is hereby
determined that such restriction is to be a part of this transaction
aid the village manager is hereby authorized to provide such owners
with a letter binding the Village of Richfield not to erect playground
equipme»t on said tract for as long as. the present owners thereof or
either of them, remains an owner of the Southerly fifteen (15) feet
of said Lot Seven (?).
4. The village mayor,. manager, finance officer and attorney
are hereby authorized and directed to take $»y and all steps which
may be necessary to effect such purchase on the terms hereinbefore
set forth The purchase price far said tract shah be paid out of
the Par& Pund. Ali other expenses incident to the purchase of said
tract shah be paid from the Law Department Account of the General
Pund.
Passed by the Village council of the Village of Richfield this
