RESOLUTION NO. 1076
RE.SOLUTI~V RELATING TO ATnTARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
FOR VILLAGE PROJECTS N0. 327 AND 330
WI~REAS, this council has heretofore advertised for the construction
of Va.llage Pro3ects No. 327 and 330, and
SAS, bids on the construction of said pro~ecta were received
by the Village of Richfield on April. 6, 1956, and
bd3EREAS, Orfei & Mariana, & Sons, Inc, submitted the lowest bid
by a responsible bidder on said projects, and
~EREAS, this council desires to defer tl~ award of a contract for
the construction of said pro3ects (with the exception of Item 7 of Village
Project No. 327) until bonds for the financing of such construction have
besr~ sold, and
WHERMAS, this council has advertised for the sale of. ~500~000
Sewer Improvement Bonds of 1956 far the financing of said projects with
bids on said bonds to be received on April lb, 1956,
NOW, TI~EREP'ORE, BE IT RES(3LVED by the Village Council of the
'Pillage of Richfield, as follows a
1. It is hereby determined to be the a.ntentian of this council
to award a contract to Orfei & Mariam & Sons, Inc, for the construction
of Va1l.age Projects No. 327 and 330 a.n accordance with the bids submitted
by said company on April 6, 1956, an the event that the bonds, which are
advertised for sale on April 16, 1956, are sold. The council reserves
the right to determine whether the bids on said bonds are sufficient]~r
favorable so .that the bonds will be sold,
Adopted by the Village Council of the V317.age of Richfield this
9th day of Apra1, 1956.
