RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CANCELIATION OP CERTAIN
SPECIAL ASSESSf~NTS AND REFUNDING OF INSTALL-
AD;NTS PAID
WHEREAS, construction of sanitary sewer laterals under V.P. No.
230 was changed by deleting construction of sanitary sewer laterals
on Oliver Avenue and Newton Avenue between 77th St,. and 78th St. and
WHEREAS, certain parcels of land had been assessed for benefits
of sanitary sewer laterals on Oliver Ave. and Newton Ave, between 77th
St: and 78th St. and '
WHBRBAS, no benefits from sanitary sewer lateral construction on
Newton and Oliver Avenues now accrue to such parcels of land, and
WHERBAS, certain .installments of special assessments have been
paid or still be paid by the fee owners of such parcels of land,
NOW THEREFORB, SE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the remainder of special assessments for construction of
sanitary sewer laterals under Village Project No. 230 assessed against
the following parcels of land be, and the same hereby are cancelled:

2. That the Village treasurer be, and he hereby is, authorized
to refund to the fee owners of the following parcels of land the
amounts actually paid by reason of special assessments made under
Village Project No. 230.

3. That such refunds shall be made only after verificatioh that
the taxes for the year 1954, payable in 1955, have actually been paid

4. That such refunds shall be•paid from debt redemption funds of
the Village of Richfield as follows:
Improvement Bonds of 1954, Series B, Debt Redemption
Pund 53:73°k or $541,.23
Improvement Bonds of 1955, Debt Redemption Pund
46•.27°1'0 or 466.09
5. That a certified copy of this resolution be furnished to the
County Auditor of Hennepin County as his authority to effect the cancel-
lation of outstanding special assessments referred in paragraph 1 above.
