RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSi~'lENTS
FOR DELINQUENT SANITARY SEINER SERVICE CHARGES.
(a~hereas, Ordinance No. 2.07 of this Village provides for payment of certain sani-
tary sewer service charges, and upon default thereof, for the assessment of delinquent
charges against the property being served, and
Whereas, certain sanitary sewer service charges are now more than 60 days delin-
quent and unpaid,
NOVd,.THEREPORE, 13E IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield
as follows:
1. An assessment roll of .proposed special assessments against properties in this
Village which are served by the sanitary sewer system of this Village, for which the
sanitary sewer service charges are more than 60 days delinquent and unpaid, is hereby
given Clerk's File No. C-3201 and is ordered placed on file.
2. Said assessment roll is hereby accepted and the amounts set forth therein
shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each
tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited to the extent of and
chargeable with the amount of the assessment levied against it.
3. Such assessment shall be payable in one installment, together with taxes for
the year 1955, payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1956.
4. The Village Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county,
and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other real
estate taxes.
5. Payments of delinquent sewer service charges collected as special assessments
shall be credited to the same fund as are current collections.
