1955-945r`~ RESOLUTION N0. 945 i~ iESOLUTION ADOPTIAIG ASSESSiiEAIT ON VILLAGE PP~OJECT N0. 312 BE IT RrSOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as f ollows~ 1. That the Village Clerk has, krith the assistance of the Village Engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Project No. 312 consisting of storm sewer, against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance Frith the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up was filed with the Village Clerk for more .than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during said. period. 2. That notice has been dL?ly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this Council could ;i:eet and pass upon the proposed.. assessment. 3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item -thereof at said public w,A~.ri~n~, /~. That the Village Council has heretofore duly established Village Project :~?o, 312 ?r'~ ?ft::r carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of land, and fully advising itself in the prer~.ises, has found and determined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project No. 312 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot,, piece, or parcel of land. 5. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessr~lent sre affirmed, adopted and confirmed a.s the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or parcel of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described. 6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be certified by the Village Clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for said storm se~~er, Village Project No. 312. 7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on the first Monday in January of 1956. All assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6;~ per annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1956. To each subsequent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. All assessments and interest thereon shah- be collected and paid-over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
