RESOLUTION ADOPTING. ASSESSkENT ON
VILLAGE PROJECT No. 239
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village Engineer9
calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Pro-
ject No. 2399 consisting of Street Grading, Curb & Gutter & Bituminuous Sidewalk,
against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited thereby
in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up
was filed with the Village Clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment
hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published -arid a public hearing heretofore duly
held as required by law so that this Council could meet and pass upon the proposed
hearing.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present
their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at
said pubic hearing.
/�. That it is hereby determined to amend said proposed assessment roll as
follows.:
A. The sum of $800, consisting of the cost of the removal is hereby
added to the cost of said project.
B. The benef itted properties, as listed in said assessment roll shall
be assessed 20% of the cost of said project, including said J800.00.
The assessment on each of the properties listed in said assessment roll
shall be reduced to 20% of the amount shoim on the proposed assessment roll.
5. That the Village Council has heretofore duly established Village Project
No. 239, and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot,
piece or parcel of land, and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and
determined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land
included in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction
of said Village Project No. 239, and has been and is specially benefited in the
amount set out in said proposed assessment roll as amended opposite -each such lot,
piece, or parcel of land.
6. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed and the
sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment as amended are affirmed, adopted
and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or
parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against
each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
