RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON
VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 225
flE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows: -- - -- -- -
1. That the Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village Engineer,
calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Pro-
ject No. 225 consisting of storm sewer, against every assessable ,1ot,.piece, or
parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions of
law, and the proposed assessment so made up was filed with the Village Clerk for
more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection
at all times during said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly
held as required by law so that this Council could meet~and pass upon the proposed
assessment. '
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present
their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said
public hearing..
4. That the assessment Roll of Village Project No. 225 in the assessable
amount of X72,547.1'7 be amended by deleting X40,601.05, which includes X25,000.00
paid by Richfield Plaza, Inc., leaving a total assessable cost of X33.,946.12 of
which X9,060.24 shall be assessed against benefited commercial property and the
remaining ~22,SS5.S$ be assessed against the residential property.-,
5. That the Village Council has heretof ore duly established Village Project
No. 225 and after carefully considering all the facts,. the benefits to each lot,
piece or parcel of land, and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and
determined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of-land
included in said proposed assessment roll as amended was improved by reason of the
construction of said Village Project ATo. 225 and has been and is specially benefited
in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll as amended. ;opposite each
such lot, piece, or parcel of land.
6. The proposed assessment as amended is hereby affirmed adopted and confirmed,
and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment as amended are affirmed,
adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces
or parcels of. land respectively., and said amount so set out is hereby levied against
each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described. •
