i~ESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSIuWNT ON
VILLf~GE PROJECT N0. 296
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village Engineer,
calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Project
No. 296 consisting of street grading, against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel
of land specially benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the
proposed assessment so made up was filed with the Village Clerk for more than 15 days
prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during
said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this Council could meet and pass upon the proposed assess-
ment.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their
objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public
hearing.
4. The assessment on each of the properties in Stoykes addition listed in said
assessment roll shall be assessed for 1~3, of the amount shown on the proposed
assessment roll.
5. That.the Village Council has heretofore duly established Village Project No,
296, and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece
or parcel of land and fully. advising itself in the premises, has found and determined
and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in
said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said
Village Project No. 296 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out
in said proposed assessment roll as amended opposite each such lot, piece, or parcell
of land.
6. The proposed assessment as amended is hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed
anal the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment as amended are affirmed,
adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces,
or parcel of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against
each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcel of land therein described,'

7.. Said assessment as so amended is hereby affirmed, adopted confirmed and shall
be certified by the Village Clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and
constitute the special assessment for said street grading, Village Project No. 296.
8. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property
included therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual.
installments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be
payable on the first Monday in Jan;~ary of 1956, All assessments shall beer interest
at the rate of 6r~ per annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the
entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1956. To each
subsequent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same
manner as other ri-unicipal taxes.
