AS FOLLOWS:
•Z. THAT THE VILLAGE CLERK HAS., WITH THE ASSISTANCE of TWE VILLAGE ENGINEERS CALCULATED
THE PROPER AMOUNTS TO BE ASSESSED :FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF VILLAGE PRDJEC? iVO. 281 CONSISTING
OF CONCRETE SIDEWALK, AGAINST EVERY ASSESSABLE LOT, PIECE, OR PARCEL OF LAND SPECIALLY BENEFITED
THEREBY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF LAW, AND THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT SO MADE UP. WAS
FILED WITH THE VILLAGE CLERK FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS PRIOR TO THE ASSESSMENT HEARING AND WAS OPEN
TO PUBLIC INSPECTIQN AT ALL TIMES DURING SAID PERIOD.
2. THAT NOTICE HAS BEEN DULY PUBLISHED AND A PUBLIC HEARING HERETOFORE DULY HELD AS RE-
QUIRED BY LAW SO THAT THIS COUNCIL COULD MEET AND PASS UPON THE PROPOSED HEARING.
3. THAT AN OPPORTUNITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ALL IPITERESTED PERSQNS TO PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS
IF ANY, TO SUCH PROPOSED ASSESSfAEfdT OR TO ANY ITEM THEREOF AT SAID PURL{C HEARING.
4. THAT THE VILLAGE COUNCIL HAS kIERETOFORE DULY ESTABLISHED VILLAGE PROJECT N0. Za1, AND
AFTER CAREFULLY CONSIDERING ALL THE FACTS, THE BENEFITS TO EACH LOT, PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAPJD
AND FULLY ADVISING ITSELF IN THE PREMISES, HAS FOUND AND DETERh71NED AidD HEREBY DECLARES THAT
EACH AND EVERY LOT, PIECE, OR PARCEL OF LAND INCLUDED IN SAID PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL WAS
IMPROVED BY REASON OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID VILLAGE PROJECT NO 281 AND HAS BEEN AND iS
SPECIALLY BENEFITED IN THE Ah10UNT SET OUT IN SAID PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL OPPOSITE EACH SUCH
LOT, PIECE, OR PARCEL OF LAI•iD.
5. THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT IS HEREDY AFFIRMED, ADOPTED, AND CONFIRMED AND THE SUMS FIXED
AND NAMED IN SAID PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AftE AFFIRMED, ADOPTED AND CONFIRMED AS THE PROPER SPECIAL
ASSESSMENT FOR EACH OF SAID LOTS, PIECES, OR PARCELS OF LAfID RESPECTIVELY, AND SAID AMOUNT SO
f SET OUT IS HEREBY LEVIED AGAINST EACH OF THE RESPECTIVE LOTS, PIECES, OR PARCELS OF LAND THEREIN
DESCRIBED.
6. SAID ASSESSMENT SO AFFIRMED, ADOPTED, AND COIJFIRfdED SHALL BE CERTIFIED BY THE VILLAGE
CLERK AND FILED 1N HIS OFFICE, ANO SHALL THEREUPON DE AND CONSTITUTE THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
FOR SAID CONCRETE SIDEWALK, VILLAGE PROJECT ISO. 2£31.
7. THE ASSESSMENT WITH ACCRUING INTEREST, SHALL BE A LIEN UPON THE PROPERTY INCLUDED
THEREIN, CONCURRENT WITH GENERAL TAXES, AFiD SHALL BE PAYABLE IN EQUAL. ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS
EXTENDING OVER A PERIOD OF 20 YEARS. THE FIRST INSTALLktENT SHALL BE PAYABLE ON THE FIRST
MONDAY IN JANUARY OF 1956. ALL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BEAR INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 6`~o PER ANNUM.
TO THE FIRST INSTALLMENT SHALL 8E ADDED INTEREST ON THE ENTIRE ASSESSMENT FROM THE DATE OF THIS
RESOLUTION UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 1956. TO EACH SUBSEQUENT IWSTALLMENT SHALL BE ADDED INTEREST FOR
ONE YEAR ON ALL UNPAID INSTALLMENTS.
ALL ASSESSMENTS AND INTEREST THEREON SHALL SHALL BE COLLECTED AND PAID-OVER IN THE SAME MANNER AS
OTHER MUNICIPAL TAXES.
