1955-908rX51 RESOLUTION N0. 90S is RESOLUTION ADOPTING AS:.ESSNENT ON VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 236 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village Engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Project No. 236 consisting of alley grading, against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up eras filed with the Village Clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspectioh at all times during said period. 2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this Council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment. respectively, an sai amo.n respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described. 3. That an opportunity has been riven to all interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public Hearing. L,.. That the Village Council has heretofore duly established Village Project No. 236 and aftar carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of land, and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece or parcel of land included in said proposed assessment roll eras improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project No. 236 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment. roll opposite each such lot, piece, or parcel of land. 5. The proposed assessrent is hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special_ assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land d 'd v t so set out is hereby levied against each of the 6. Said assessment so_affirmerl, adopted, and confirmed shall. be certified by the Village Clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for said alley gradingy Village Project No. 236. 7. The assessment ~r1th accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, concurrent Grith general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on the fir~~t iionday in January of 1956. A11 assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1956. To each subsequent installment shall b e added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
