All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid-over in the -same
manner as other municipal taxes.

P~SOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSI~~NT ON
VILLAGE .PROJECT N0. 232
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VIZLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County,
T~innesota, as follows :
1. That the TTillage.Clerk has, with tha assistance of the Vi1ls.ge Engineer
calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the construction of Village Project
no. 232 consisting of Street grading, against every assessable lot, piece,. or parcel
of land specially benefited thereby in accord~.nce with the provisions of law, and the
proposed assessment so made up was filed ~d.th the Village Clerk for- more than 15 days
prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at all timed during
said period.
2. That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this Council could meet and pass upon the proposed
hearing.
3. That an opportunity has '.een given to all interested persons to present their
objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any iten thereof at said public
hearing.
4. Th:::t the Vi11a~;e Council has heretofore duly established Village Project
No. 23z and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece
or parcel of land, and fully advising itse]z" in the premises, has found and determined
and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece,. or~parcel of land included in said
proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said Village
Project No.232 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount got mat in said
proposed assessment roll opposite each such lpt, piece, or parcel of land. .
5. The proposed assessn~nt 3s hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed and the
sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are aff~.rmed, adopted and confirmed
as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land
respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the
respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described.
6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted, and confirmed shall be certified by
the Village Clerk and filed in his office, and sha]1 thereupon be and constitute the
special assessment for said street grading, Village Project No. 232.
7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property
ihcluded therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual
installments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be
payable on the first Tdonday in January of 1956. A11 assessments shal3. bear interest
at the rate of 6~ per annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the
entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1956, To each
subsequent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
