1955-900r~~i RESOLUTION N0. 9~ RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON --- VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 220 ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, M3.nnesota, as follows: 1. That the Village Clerk has, w~.th the assistance of-the Village Engineer calculated the proper amounts to Ice assessed for the construction of V311age Project No. 220 consisting of a].].ey grading, against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance with the provisions of law, and the proposed assessment so made up t~ras filed faith the Village Clerk for more.than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and was open to public inspection at all times during said period. 2. That not3ee has been duly published and apublic hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this Council could meet and pass upon the proposed assessment. 3. That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objection, if any, to such proposed assessment or 'w any item thereof at said public hearing. /~. That the Village Council has heretofore duly established Village Project No. 220 and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of land, and i1a].ly advising itself in the premises, has found and determined _ and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said Proposed assessment roll teas improved by reason of the construction of said Village Project No. 220 and has been and is specially benefited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land. 5. The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for•each of said lots, pieces, or parcel of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respectij:e lots, pieces, or parcels of land thereinabsdribed. 6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted, and confirmed shall be certified by the Village Clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for said alley grading, Village Project No. 220. 7. The assessment~rith accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, concurrent faith general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 20 years. The first installment shall be payable on the f first ~Zonday in January of 1956. All assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6~ per annum. To the f first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1956. To each subsequent installment s hall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and-paid-over in the same manger as other municipal taxes.
