l~ ,It 3s hereby c~e~termined to be necessary* gnd expedient to the public health,
sia..fety, convenience and general welfare to acquire, for streets park and
drainage purposes, the following described property, to wit;
All that part of Lots 9 and 10~ Block 1, Silverwood Addition to
Richfield, Hennepin County, Finn. and of Section 2$~ Township 28,
Range 24, described as follows: Co~nencing at a point in the East
ar~i West quarter line of said section at a point, 1119.23 feet east
of the intersection pf said cq;~arter.line with the center line of
Humboldt Avenue, as the~sa~e is located on the plat of Fairwood Park
First Addition; thence North on ~a line 10-11~ TrJest, a distance of
239.2 feet to a Judicial Landmark, said Judicial Landmark being on
the-West meander line of Grass Lake bed which Judicial Iandmark is
the actual point of beginning of the land to be described; thence
North 7]~°-~,1~~ .East, a distance of 1~9 feet; thence north to a point
iri a line which is the extension of the North line of Government Lot
5, said section, which point is distant 206..3 feet west of a Judicial

2.. The Offer of the owners thereof to convey said property to the Village

3~ The Village Mayor, Tanager, Finance Officer and Attorney are hereby author-
ized and directed to talte such steps as may be necessary to effect such pur-
chase on the aforementioned basis.
4, The purchase price and all costs and expenses in connection with such
purchase sha]1 be charged against and paid from the Park Fund.
5. That there be and hereby is authorized a transfer of monies from the
Contingency Appropriation of the General Fund to the Park Fund,
Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this
12 th day of September, 1~5 .
