2. The Village Clerk w3.th the a~ sistance of the Village Eng3.neer shall
forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve-
ment against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land withia the district
affected t.3thout regard to cash valuation, as provided by 1aw~ aad he shall file
a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment notify
the Counoil thereof.
