1955-832r~. RESOLUTIoN No. ~ RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESS~NT ON VILLAGE PROJECT N0. 229 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUI~I;TL ~' THE Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as followsa 1. That the Village Clerk has, faith the assistance of the Village Engineer calculated the proper amounts to be assessed far the construction of Village Project No. 229, consisting of the Village I•dide Street Oiling Program for the gear 1954, against every assessable lot, piece, and.pareel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance rr.~th the provisions of lair, and the proposed assessment so made up trar:, filed tirith the Village Clerk for more than 15 days prior to the assessment hearing and wasopen to public inspection at all times during said period. 2. That notice has been duly published and. a public hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this Council could meet and pass upon the-pro- posed assessment, 3. That an opportunity has ?peen given to all interested persons to present their objections, ia" arty, to such proposed assessment ox to az~r item thereof at said public hearing. ~,. That the Village Council has heretofore duly established Vi].]~ge Project No. 229 and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece, or parcel of lane, and fully advising itself 3n the premises has found and determined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land included in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the construction of said V3.Llage Project No, 229 and has been and is specially benefited i.n the amount set out`in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece, or parcel of .land. 5, The proposed assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, and oonfirm®d, and the suu~s fi::ed and named in said proposed assessment are affirmed, adopted, and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described. 6. Said assessment so aff3xmed, adopted, and confirmed sha11 be certified by the Village Clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute` the special assessment for said 1954 Village Wide Street Oiling Program, Village Project No. 229. 7. The amount sas~ssed against each lot, piece, or p~^rcel of land sha11 bear interest from the date hereof until the same has been paid at the rate of 0 ~ ~r annum. S, That such assessments shall be payable in one ecli~l armual instal]~nt payable on the first day of January in each year beginning in the-year 1956 snd continuing until all said installments shall have been paid, each installment to ~ collected with -taxes collectible during said year by the County Auditor.
