RESOI,UTCON AUTHORIZING PURCP,ASE
OF PROPERTY FOR P1~.K PURPOSES
BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield as
follows:
1, Tt is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient for the public
health, safety, corn-enience, prosperity and general we7.fare to acquire for
park and recreational purposes, the follo~u.ng described property t~ wit:
Lot Seven (7), Block Twelve (12), ~~Tingda1.e
Bros. Lincoln Hi71s~~~ according to the plat
thereof on file or of record in the office of
the Register of Deeds in and. for said Hennepin
County,
Subject to a reservation by the State of
Minnesota of minerals and mineral rights.
2 e Tt is hereby determined to ~ cept the offer of the owner of said
property i,es Ray We Skelton Company, Ince ~ to se1.]. said property to the
Village of Richfield for the sum of Nine Hundred Dollars (~p900.00), it being
the determination of this Council that said offer is a fair and reasonable
purchase price for said property,
3s The Mayor,, Manager, Finance Officer and Attorney are hereby author-
ized and directed to take any and all steps necessary to effect the purchase
of said property in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
~I.e The purchase price and other expenses incident to the purchase of
said property shall be paid from and charged aganst the Park Fund.
