RESOLUTION N0. 577
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF STORM
SEWER EASEMENTS IN THE VIVINITY OF b4TH AND
LYNDkLE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield:
as follows:
1. That it is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to
the public health, safety, convenience and general we],fare to acquire
easements for storm sewer purposes from the intersection of bt~th and
Lyndale southwesterly to the easterly shore of Grass Lake:
2. That the owner of Parcel 7000 in Section 28, Township 28,
Range 2?~ irs the Village of Richfield having offered to convey a storm
sewer easement five feet in width along the northerly side of said
parcel for storm sewer purposes for the sum of X150.00, said offer
is hereby determined to be a fair and reasonable offer and said sum
is hereby accepted.
3. That the owner of Parcel 200 in Section 28; Totmship 28
Range 24 in the Village of Richfield having offered to convey an
easement for storm sewer purposes seven and one--half feet in width
along the southerly boundary of said parcel for the sum of ~150.Q0,
said offer is hereby determined to be a fair and reasonable offer
and the same is hereby accepted.
1~. That the mayor, manager, finance officer and attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to take such steps as may be necessary
to effect the purchase of said easements in accordance with the terms
of the aforementioned offers.
5. That the purchase price of said easements and all costs and
expenses in connection therewith shall be charged against the 1954
Storm Sewer Construction Fund, I.P. No. 271.
