1954-524rRESOLUTION NO. 524 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POSITION CLASSES AND SETTING THE ANNUAL SCHEDULE OF PAY RANGES -AND COMPENSATION RATES FOR VILLAGE EMPLOYEES UNDER THE PERSONNEL MERIT SYSTEM ORDINANCE WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12.01, the Personnel Merit System Ordinance, provides for the establishment of classes of positions, schedules of pay ranges and com- pensation rates for individual employees,'all in the administrative service of the Village government; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Council does determine that a cost of living increase be included in the setting of rates of compensation for 1955; although,-said Personnel Ordinance does not require such an increase at this time. The increase between March and June of 1952 and March and June of 1954 was 1.95 points or 1.73 per -cent, which is under the 2 per -cent minimum as set forth in said ordinance; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Council do and hereby does establish for the year 1955 the following classes of positions and pay ranges for such po- sitions for the Village service subject to the Personnel Merit System Ordinance effective January 1, 1955.
