RESOLUTION AIPTHORIZING CONDEi~~TATTON C~' CERTAIN
LAND FOR STREET PURPC6E'S
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE V2LLAGE COUNCIL of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Pfi.nnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and ex~dient to the public
health, safety, convenience and general welfare to acquire each of the fol-
lowing described properties in the Village of Richfield, County of Hennepin,
State of Minnesota, for street purposes, to-wit:
The northerly thirt;t(~T30) feet of the Southwest a~uarter (SW4)
of the Southwest quarter (SW4) of the Southeast quarter (SE4)
of Section Thirty-five (35), Township Twenty-eight (28), Range
Twenty-four {2!~).
The Easterly thirty (E30) feet of the South one hundred (100)
feet of the West three hundred thir~r-one (331) feet of the
North one -half (N2) of the South one -half (S 2) of the northwest
c;~uarter (NtnT4) of the Southwest quarter (SW4) of Section Thirty-
three (33), Township Twenty-eight (28), Range Twenty-four (24),
according to the U. S. Govt t Survey thereof .
The Southerly thirty (S30) feet of 'the following described
property, to-wit:
That part of Government Lot Five (5), Section Twenty-eight (28), Twp.28,
Range Twen-ly-four (21~) described as follows : Commencing at a
' point on the East andWest quarter line of said Section at a
point 1119.23 feet East of the intersection of said quarter line witd~
the center ]ine of Humboldt Ave. as same is located upon the plat
of Fairwood Park First Addition; thence North on a line 1 degree
and 11. minutes Nest, a distance of 739.2 feet to the point of in-
tersection of said line with the West meander line of Grass Lake,
which point of intersection is marked by Judicial Landmark, same
being the actual point of beginning of the land to be described;

of said line with the South ]ine of Lot 10, Block 1, Silverwood

along the South line of said lot to the Southwest corner of said
lot; thence South on an extension of the 1rJest line of said Lot

the' South line of said Lot 10 to the- intersection of said parallel

Easterly line of Emerson Avenue South as extended from 64th
St. to 65Th St., and except the North twen~Ly-five (N25) feet
thereof .

nine (E149) feet of the West three hundred thirty.•one (~T331~
feet of the South quarter (S~~) of tans Northwest quarter (N~T~)
of the Southwest quarter (SW~,) of Section Thirty-three (33),
Township Tweni~r-eight (2$), Range Twen~Ly-four (24).
2. The Village I~~.yor, Manager, Finance Officer, and Attorney are
hereby authorized to acquire said lands for -said street purposes and to
ins ~.tute eminent domain proceedings to acquire this land; provided that
if said lands are not acquired by eminent domain proceedings but are ac-
quired by purchase, such purchase shall be subject to approval by the
Village council.
