RESOLUTION N0. 378
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO ORFEI
& MARIANI & SONS, INC., VILLAGE P13~JECT N0. 230 C-1l-81 .
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield, as
~~ follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Orfei & Mariani & Sons,
Ins. of St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for
r the construction of Village Project No. 230.
~ 2. That the bid of Orfei & Mariani 8e Sons, Inc. for the construction
~. Village Project No. 230 on a unit price basis at the price contained in .'their
proposal of May 24, 1954, with an estimated construction cost of ~624,.52~L~
is hereby accepted.

~;, 3. That the proposed contract between said Orfei & Mariani & Sons .Ihc.
and the Village of Richfield dated June 1, 1954, be given Clerks file Nql
~ C-1481 and be placed on file. That said proposed contract for the construction
of said Village Project No. 230 is hereby approved and adopted, and the~Mayor
and manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for
and on behalf of the Village of Richfield, and the Village Clerk is authohized
and directed to affix the Village seal thereto.
4. That payments to b® made under the terms of said contract shall be
' charged against the Village Project No. 230 Fund.
~ 5. That the corporate surety bond in the sum of the estimated con-
tract price which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
6. 2'hat the Clerk is authorized and directed to return the securit~t
document to the unsuccessful bidder upon the execution of said proposed,con-
tract.
