RESOLUTION AUTHORTZIN'G P.~.YNENT TO
CONTRACT ASSIGNEE
WHERE6S, the Village of Richfield has been provided with a copy of an
Assignment of Contract dated April 7, 195, wherein the members of t~-e co-
partnership of Orfei and Mariam make assignment to Orfei and Mariam. and
Sons, Snc., a Ndnnesota corporation, of their interest in a contract with
this. Village for the construction of Project No. 221-I, and
Tn1IiER~S, such assignment recites that such assignment does not dis-
charge the obligation of the assignors or their surety to the Village of
Richfield, and
1nlHERE~S, the surety on the public contractors bond for said contract
has given its assent to payment to the assignee of arty sums remaining due on
said contract and has indicated that such payment will iri no way be regarded
as discharging, releasing or impairing its obligation on said bond;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Village of Richfield herewith
recognizes and consents to such assignment to the extent of making payment
of any sums due under said contract to the said assignee; and that performance
of said contract shall continue to be and remain the primary obligation of
said assignor.
