ON VILLAGE-TAE STREET OILING, VILLAGE PROJECT

WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution designated as Resolution
No. 3~.2, passed by the Council on May 3, 195t~, the village engi-
neer has prepared pans and specifications for the improvement of
public streets and alleys in the Village of Richfield by penetra••
tion oiling; 2" bituminous stabilized base and bituminous seal
coat, aril, has presented such plans and specifications to_the
council far approval; and

WHERF~iS, such improverr~nt is in its entirety of a type which
' ~: under Minnesota Law it is permissible for this Vi].~a. ge to con-
~:~4~ struct by day labor, and

~._: WHEREAS, this Council has heretofore advertised for bids
and awarded a contract for certain of the bituminous and related
materials needed in the making of such an am~ovement,

NQnT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED H3f THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF' THE
s VILLAGE ~' RICHFIEID AS FOLLO4~ :
a, 1. Such plans and specifications shall be given clerkrs file
- No. C-].131 and the same are hereby approved and ordered placed on
file.
2. The Village engineer shall~ proceed under the direction
of the Village Council and Village Manager, as given from time to
times to carry on a17. work in connection wi. th such improvement
in accordance with the pans and specifications herein approved,
keeping such account of all costs and expenses incurred in con-
nection therewith as mfr be required by the Vi1]a ge Manager and
as are required by 3a ~r~
3. For the financing of said improvement there. is hereby
created a Village Project No. 229 Fund., Al]~ costs and expenses
incurred or hereafter to be incurred in connection with the mak-
ing of said improvement shall be charged against said Fund.
Said Fund shall. consist of monies ~h ich are transferred to it
from tirr~ to time from the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund
{PIR) Special assessments hereafter- levied by reason of said
improvement shall be used asa•source of monies to repay said
PIR fund.
