BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of -the Village of Richfield, Iiennepin
County, ~iisinesotae, as follows.:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Orfei and Mar3.ani of St. Paul,
Minnesota,. is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for the construction of Village
Project No. 22t~-1, sa~i.d prod®ct being a part of Village Project No. 22?~. e
2. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Phelps-Drake Company, 2nc.,
a~ Minnesotan Corporation of Minneapolis, NLinnesota, is the lowest bid by a re-,
sponsible bidder for the construction of V3.l.lage Project No. 224-2, said project
being a pant of Village Project No. 224.
3. That it is hereby determined to be necessary and expendi~t to the public

health, convenience, d safety and general welfare that sazLd Pro~ec t No. 2~ be con-
structed, aid that the wane shall be constructed
4. That the bid of Orfei and Ma1rl.ani for the construction of Vill.a~e Project
No. ~21~-1 on a~ .unit pr3.ce basis at the price canta~ned 3.n their proposal of Februa~r
2~, 195k with an estimated total construction cost of X506,393.?2 is hez+eby accepted.
5, That the bid of Phelps-Drake Company, Inc. for the construction of
Village Project No. 22l~-2 on a~ unit price basis at the price contained 3.n their
proposal of February 23, 1~l~ with as estalmatsd construct~.on cost of ~733,611.6Q is
hereby accepted.
6. That the proposed contract beiz~een said Orfei and Mariaal3. and the Villaage

of Richfield Baited Nla.rch 1, 195 begiven Clerks s File No. C-13~6 and be placed
on file. That said proposed contract for the construction of sastd Village Project
No. 22~.-1 is hereby approved aa~d ~op;~sd, and that the P~ or and Manager and
~aereby authorised and directed. to execute said contract for and on behalf of the
Village of Richfield and the Village Clerk is authorised and directed to affix the
village seal thereto. .
7. That the proposed- contract between Phelps-Drake Companny, Inc. and the

on file. That said proposed contract for the consts~uetLon of said Vi.7.lage Pro3ect

authorized and directed to execute sBd-d contract for and on ~ha,lf of the ®illage of
Richfie3.d and the Village Clerk i~ authorized and directed to aft the village seal
thereto.
8. That<pay~nts tc be made: under the terms of each of sa3.d contracttig shall.
be charged against the Vil.].age Project No. 224 Fund,
9. That the corporate surety bonds in the sum of the est3.rr~ated c~tract
prices which accompany said proposed contracts a~ hereby accepted and approved.

to the unsuccessful bidders. upon the exeeut3an of sa3.d proposed contracts.
