BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Cotmcil of the ®illage of R3.chfield that
• there shall be transferred an addit3.ona1 sum of $15000.00 from the Liquor Fund ~ '
to the General Fund for 1954 operat3.on. That it is determined that such money is ,
not needed for the operation of the Liquor Store utility and may be diverted to • .
general government purposes.
It is further determined that there is unappropriated surplus in the amount
of ~8~000.00 from the 1953 budget operatAl.ons which is in. addit9.on to the estiire.tsc~ "• ,

I t is further determined that in the opinion of the Counca.l the actual receipts
during 1y54 will exceed the original estimated receipts by the sum of at least
~23~000.00~ and there shall be further allocated to the various appropriations
the following anrounts:
i~000.00 to the Police Department for the employment of taaio new policemen;
~6~500.00 to the Fire Department for the employment of two additional firemen.
X5,500.00 to the Engineering Division for the employment of three ddditi•on~,l
me~ibers ands
~5~000.00 to the Park Department for the employment of three temporary
men. on a seasonal basis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Manager is hereby author3.sed to add
such posit3.ons to the employees roster, to designate appropriate classifications
to them and to fill such posit3.ons.
