RESOLUT GN ACCEPTING BIND AND AWARDING CCK TRACT TO
ORFEI AND MARLANI CST STORM SEWER IMPROVEMT -
VILLAGE PROJECT NO. 2250
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILIAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF RICMELS.9 WMEPIN
COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows,
1. That it'.is hereby determined that the bid of Orfei and Mariani, a co-
partnership consisting of Galliano Orfei and Ulderi.co Mariani, is the lowest bid
by a responsible bidder on Village Project No. 225, the same being a storm sewer
project.
2. That it is hereby determined necessary and expedient to the public health,
convenience, and general welfare that said Project No. 225 be constructed, and
the same shall be constructed.
3. That the said bid of Orfei and Mariani for the construction of said
project on a unit price basis according to the unit prices stated in said bid
totaling $54,649.92, on the basis of the es tim ted quantities of work to be
performed, is hereby accepted.
4. That the proposed contract between said Orfei and Mariani and the Village
of Richfield dated October 14,0 1953 be given Clerk's file No. C -1168.
That said proposed contract for the construction of said Project No. 225 is hereby
approved and adopted, and that the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the Village of Richfield and
the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the Village seal thereto.
5. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Village project No. 225 Storm Sewer Construction Fund.
6. That the corporate surety public contractorts bond in the sum of $54,649.92
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved subject to
approval of form and execution by the Village Attorney.
