BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Vil.'~.age of Richfield, Henn~in
County, Minnesota, as follows
1, ghat it is hereby dete~i.ned that the bid o'£ Phelps-Drak® Company, Inc.,
a Minnesota corporation, 1~j,15 S.E. 8th Street, Minneapo]3s, ~1.rnesota, is the lowest
bid by a respansible bidder on Pillage Project No. 21.l~.~ thesame being a project for
the construction of sanitary sewer laterals.
2. That it is hereby determined. necessary and expedient to the public health,
convenience, and ganera3. welfare that said project No. 211.x, be canstructed, and that
the same sha11 be constructed.
3• That the sa3.d bid of Phelps-Drake Company, Inc. ~Bor the construction of

said project ona unit pri ce basis according to the unit price set forth in their
proposal of September 9, 1953, with an estimated total construction price of
~7.~.2,99~.,35, as hereby accepted.
~., That the proposed contract between said Phelps-Drake Company, Inc.
and the Pillage of Richfield dated September ]~., 1953, be given C]~rk~s File No.C-892;
that said proposed contract for the construction of said Project No. 211, is h®reb~r
approved and adopted and the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said contract f or and on behalf of the Pillage of Richfield and the Pillage
Clerk is authoirzed and directed to affix th.e Village Seal thereto.
5, That pay~aents be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Village Project ~To, 2].~. Canstru,eticn. Fund.
6, That the public eontract~-rts corporate st~fy bond in the sum of

~1.~3,000.00 which accompanies said-contract and on which Fire Association of Philade~,phiQ
appears as surety is hereby accepted and approved.
7. That the Clerk is authorized and directed to return the secux3ty documents
to the unsuccessft~7. bidders.
