1. A 1~ertain petitalm requesting the improvement of Lakeshore Drive
from L3mdale Avenue South to 66th Street by grading, filed with the council
on August 2~., 1953, and given C1erk~s File No. C-$9$, is hereby declared
to be signed by the required percentage-of owners of property affected
thereby. ~s declarati~~n. is made in conformi-t~ to NI.S.A., Sec. }29.19.
2. The petita.on is hereby referred to the Village engineer and he
is ix~.structed to report to-the council with all convenient speed advising
the council 3n a prel~Lminar~r way as to whether the proposed improvement
is feasible and as to whether. it should best be made as proposed or in
connection- with some other improvement and the estimafied cost of the
improvement as receded.
