B~ IT RFSO~VED by -the Village Council of the Village of Richfield,
NLinnesota as follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Park Constructiol
Company, Zl`o5 11th Avenue So., Minneapolis ~., Minnesota, is the lowest
bid by a responsible bidder on V.1'.s 155, 1.~, 161, 177, 186, 193, 195
and 210 street grading.
2. That i t is determined necessar~r and expedient ~ the public health,
convenience and general welfare that said projects #155,160, 161,177,28b,
193,195 and2l0 be constructed and the same shall be constructed.
3. That said bid of Park Construction Company for the construction of
said projects on a unit prise basis according tp the unit prices .stated in
said bid totaling ~61~,130.79 on the basis of the est3~tsd quantity of work.
to be performed is hereby accepted.
!~. That proposed contract between said Park Construction Campar~r and
the Village of Richfield dated August 2l~, 1953, for the construction of
said projects is hereby approved-and adopted and that the mayor and manager
ar® hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract forand on behalf
of the Village of Richfield, and the Village Clerk is authorized and directed
to affix the Village seal thereto.
5. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be
charged against Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1 Construction P~md.
6. That the corporate surety publa.c contractors bond in the sum of
X65,000 which accompanies said contract and on which Seaboard Surety Company
appears as surety is hereby accepted and approved.
7. That the C1~ rk is authorized and directed to return the bid securities
of the unsuccessful bidders.
