1. That it is hereby d®terrnined that ~e bid of (~all~.ano Orfs~i and
Ulderico Nlariani co-partners doing business under the name of Orfei and
Mariana, 11.56 ,Homer. Street, St.Faul, i+~i.nnesota, is the lowest bid by a
responsible bidder on V3liage 1'ro~ect No. ].lt3, eonstructa.on of storm sewers.
2. That it is hereby determined necessary and expedient to the public
health, conven3.ence ana general welfare that pro3eet No. 1l~3 be constructed
and that •the same shall b® constructed.
3. That tdi~ said bid of Orfei and Mariana for the construction of
said project on a un3.t price basis according to the unit prices stated in
said bid totaling $7,150.00 ern the basis of the estamafied quant3.t,1.®s of
work to be performed, is hereby accepted.
!~, That the proposed contract between said Orfei and Hariani~and the
Village of Richfield dated August 2?~, 1953, fort}ie construction of said

Project No. ].l~3 is hereby approved and adopted and the mayor and the manag®r
are hereby authorized and directed ~ execute said contract for and on
behalf of fine Village of Richfield, and the Village Clerk is authorized and
directed to affix the village seal thereto.
• 5. That gaytnents to be made .under the terns of said contract shall be
charged against the permanent Tmprov®ment Revolving Fund,
6. That the corporate surety publ3.a contractors' bond jn the sum of
$7,200.00 on which Seaboarcl.Surety Company, a New York corporations appears
• as surety, is hereby accepted and approved.
7. That the clerk is authoxd.zed and directed to retaarn the bid securities
• to the unsuccessful bidders.
