. RESOL:UTi~t AUTHORIZING C~DII~TATI~N
OF CERTAIN LANDS
BE IT RESOT~VED BY the Villa:e Council of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Minnesota,as follows:
' 1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public health~~,,
convenience, and general welfare to acquire each of the following-described properties
in the Coun-L~T of Hennepin for street and utility purposes, to-wit:
The South 30 feet of ~t1ze following:
That part of the north half of the east half of the northeast quarter of
the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 28, Range 2~., according to
the Government Survey thereof; hereinafter referred to as ~~said tract~~
described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west line of said tract
distant two hundred eight feet south of the northwest corner of said. ~,ract,
thence easterly parallel with the north line of said ~~ act`t~hree hundred dirty
feet; thence southerl~r parallel with the west line of said tract to the
south line of said tract; thence westerly along the south line of said tract
to the southwest corner thereof; thence norfi~erly along the west line of said
tract to the point of beginning except that part thereof lying east of a line
drawn from a point on the north line of said tract 165 feet east from the
northwest corner of said l;ract to a point on the south line of said tract 165
feet west from the southeast corner of said tract.

That part of the south half of the east half of the northwast quarter of the
southwest quarter of Seetion 28, Township 28, Range 2l~, according to the Goverru
ent Survey thereof, lying west of a line drawn parallel with the west line 'of
said east half from a point on the north Line of said northeast quarter of
southwest quarter distant 330 feet east of the northwest corner of the east
half of said northwast quarter of southwest quarter, except the south 75 feet
front and rear of the north 180 feet~flront and rear of the east half thereof,
and except the south 105 feet of the east ~5 feet thereof, and except the
the North 105 feet, front and rear• of the east half thereof.

The North thirty feet of lot 15, Sabin. Lake Harriet Gat'den Lots.
2. The Village Manager, Mayor, finance Officer, and Attorney are hereby authorized
to acquire said lands for the aforementioned purposes and to take any and all legal
steps necessary to such proceedings.
